1990-2002 WSSB funding has increased approximately 12% over inflation, while direct and consultative services to students has increased 540%.  This has been possible through the development of creative partnerships with other state agencies, public schools and the private sector.  Not factored into this growth rate is the production of Braille materials for blind consumers in the state of Washington.  Since 1993, the Braille Access Center has produced over 7 million pages of Braille.  This chart also does not address 480 other vision related services provided to the community on a monthly basis or WSSB's policy of actively integrating the community in the use of on-campus facilities.
